Hello, my name is Shizuka Ozawa-Lee. I have enjoyed working in Japan, France and England at many different nurseries and kindergartens, learning many teaching styles and methods. Among them I have worked at a nursery that implemented the Montessori teaching method, Japanese kindergartens in London, a Japanese nursery in Paris and nurseries for English speaking children in London. During this time, I was able to study how children learn multiple languages and become multilingual. Additionally, I was able to compare and contrast the primary teaching methods used in England and Japan. Knowing the methods intimately, I have combined the strengths from both methods in order to facilitate the children's development in the best and most effective way possible. In our practice, we believe the most important key to a child realising their potential is a close relationship between you, the parents and us, the carers.
